Runner-up for green innovation award

Zinus recently took second place in the Drivprisen 2021 award, a Norwegian green innovation award for Vestland county aimed at promoting innovative ideas with an extra-large potential to accelerate the green transition.

The award winner, zinc and zinc alloy producer Boliden Odda, receives a price of NOK 200,000, while runners-up Zinus and 7Analytics receives NOK 50,000 and NOK 30,000 respectively.

“After many good nominations, we were left with three worthy winning candidates. All of these represent Vestland in a very good way in the green shift,” Johannes Rauboti, jury member and CEO of Sogn og Fjordane Energi, said.

The Drivprisen award is a collaboration between the energy company Sogn og Fjordane Energi, the bank Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Innovation Norway and Vestland County Council.
