Zinus secured a new and important contract for autonomous ferry charging systems

Zinus has secured a new contract for the delivery of autonomous charging systems to two ferry connections in Nordland county and will thus have all the major ferry companies in Norway as end customers. “The contract shows that our Norwegian-manufactured products for the green shift are doing well in competition with major international providers,” says Ronny Olson, Sales Manager at Zinus.
Zinus provides climate-friendly cement unloading

From autumn 2021, cement carriers regularly calling at the port of Oslo can shut down their engines during unloading at Nordre Sjursøykai. Instead, two Shore Power Compact units from Zinus will supply the ships with large amounts of electricity while docked. This will save up to 2,100 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
Providing sustainable ferry transportation to 19 million passengers

Zinus with record delivery to Portugal: 10 new electric passenger ferries servicing routes across the Tagus River in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon will be equipped with autonomous charging connections from Zinus.
Autonomous charging to Norway’s shortest ferry route

Turkish Elkon chose Zinus as supplier of the autonomous charging system to Bastø Fosen’s new electric ferry. The vessel will service the 184-metre-long ferry route across the Drammensfjord.
